Habit Control

CONTROL — it is in your hands

A habit is a routine of behavior that is generally repeated on a regular basis and is difficult to stop. It often occurs unconsciously.

There are many types of habits that people engage in, such as, overeating, smoking and nail biting. If you fall into this category, it is important to understand that the problem is not in your metabolic rate or your lack of will power. The problem stems from your mind. It is really your subconscious mind that keeps your habit patterns in charge of your behavior. These patterns in many ways control your feelings, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. In therapy, we will reprogram your mind to develop new patterns of thinking and new ways to cope with these overwhelming habitual feelings that have taken over control. Your therapist will apply personalized inductions during a state of deep relaxation, when your subconscious mind is receptive for an actual and desirable change of behavior.
